Fun with the girls

Getting away from stress of life and just sail away from everything is worth alot when it is a surprise you arn't expecting it is even better. If you have to travel for work St. Thomas is a good place to be.

My Neice came to visit me in paradise which was extremely fun. Oh my sister and her husband Goody came My Dad also was came as he was paying that was important. But it was so much fun to have Mary jane come and visit. She is so friendly she would see me and want me to hold her she laughed with me and we did alot of playing. It was alot of fun. I am excited to see her when I go home in June.

Fitness

So fitness has been my new thing. In the last 6 months I have gone from not exercising in over a year to working out 3 times a week and this past month it has been five times a week. I have to tell you that as great as it is to be in shape I don't know if I can keep up with the 5 day a week schedule.

I have been taking a boot camp at 5:30 in the morning Monday-Friday. The first week I could barely walk after class each day. But by the end of the third week I ran a 5K, very slowly, but I did run it. The 5K was to support breast cancer. They did have drawings for prises. Everyone who finished the 5k was entered to win and I did win a prize. it was all very exciting.

I hope to continue my pursuit of health but I may need to cut down my exersizing to 3 or 4 days a week as I am not sure I can keep up the 5 day a week thing.

Greece

Greece was everything I imagined and more. There are few places in the world that look like they do in the movies but Greece is one of those places. From the white houses with Blue shutters to the windmills.

I love America but there is something about being in a place that been around for so many thousands of years. To see places that are we talked about in classes on Ancient history. I had learn about the mystical Gods in school but there is something about see the birth places of the Gods. Being able to witness first had some of the amzing buildings that the mystical Gods inspired.

They say that advances in learning and Technology are beyond anything anyone could have ever imagined but to see the incredible architecture and the communities they built without computers and modern technology and I wonder who had the greater minds them or us.

Paradise

Work is oftern crazy and Life a little hectic but the fact of the mater is I live in Paradise. How bad can life reallybe when a five minute walk from my house puts me on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. After almost 2 years on the island I have not gotten tired of the incredible sunsets. There is nothing better at the end of the day then getting a treat and watching the sunset set on the horizon.
Life on the island definately runs at slower pace. But there is something for living in a place where you know people will let out our into traffic, where a honking horn is most likely a greeting from someone you know then from someone upset at you.
Although I sometime miss a mall or even a wallmart I can say that I have had some of the best Itialian food I have ever eaten
So while I may not be as tan as the tourist who have the pleasure of doing nothing but lay on the beach for the week they are hear I get to wake up everyday in Paradise
